I have come across numerous spellings of the characters and Gundams, be it on homepages or in fan-fiction. The reason for this might indeed be the inconsistency in fansubs. However, most of the names can actually be found in artbooks, so I comprised a little list of terms as they are supposed to be spelled.
I have only included terms that I have seen written in romaji (Roman characters) in either magazines, artbooks or on original CD covers. I have not taken any info out of doujinshi, since they're unofficial material. I hope this will clear up some questions, and that it may help the poor confused writers. :-)

Note: There are various spellings for the series' name: I've come across "Gundamwing", "Gundam-W", "Gundam W" and "GundamW". As you like it. The full title is "New Mobile History Gundam Wing", but "New Mobile War Chronicle Gundam Wing" has also been used. In Japanese, it reads "Shin Kidousenki Gundam Wing".
Note from sea: The Blind target manga gives the name as "New Mobile Report/Gundam Wing", and AnimeVillage have apparently decided that the official English title will be Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam Wing.
